This month I read the book We Should Hang Out Sometime by Josh Sundquist. In this book, Josh wanted a girlfriend, however, he had never had any girlfriends, only girls he was close with. So, Josh met up with each of his friends that he wondered what happened, and he learned what fell apart, and then finally met a girl that he is now married to. The theme of We Should Hang Out Sometimes by Josh Sundquist is, leaving the past behind often leads to acceptance of the present. I rate this book ten out of ten because it had a great balance of funny and sad, and always kept me on my toes, ready to see what silly mistake he made next. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys comedy and heartbreak, or stories of people's lives. The book does have a small amount of adult content.

This totally sound like a book I would want to read because it sounds really funny and I like books like that. I think it was interesting how you put your second pitch because it really switches around the perspective of the reader. I learned that leaving the past behind you can be beneficial. I would like to know more about where he got the idea to do this, I think that would be interesting to hear.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that I found really interesting about this book is that he is not afraid of what other people might say and think. One thing that I would like to know more about however, is what their reactions were when he asked them what changed. A connection that I can make to this story is that there are alot of relationships with me and my friends that are broken up and I am always curious about what didn't work out. This seems like a book that I would read because it sounds like it has a quick pace and it also seems like there is alot of action in this book.
